Your spiritual journey is the most important and exciting adventure you will ever experience. Make no mistake: the road is fraught with opportunities, challenges, blessings and dangers.

At the end? A heavenly reward beyond imagination.

Along the way? A real and growing relationship with your Creator, great relationships with other travelers, and a powerful sense of purpose for life.

At Weymouth Church, we've developed a roadmap to assist you on this journey, divided into four stages. We've mapped out the territory and offer practical instructions, step-by-step. You can hear audio explanations, complete tutorials, and view articles. You'll find:

Driving Directions. As you travel on the spiritual journey at Weymouth, these are important “core” elements of spiritual growth at that phase. Be faithful to complete these, and you'll see your life begin to change by God's grace.

Recommended Stopovers. These are some great, practical ideas that we encourage you to participate in while on the journey. You'll find your spiritual life enriched, your relationships deepened, and your church experience enhanced considerably by these helpful tips.

Scenic Overlooks. If you've got time and a little extra motivation, stopping off at an overlook can be a delightful experience. Along each road, we've identified two such “overlooks” that will give you a much broader and more colorful learning experience. Check them out if you can!

Travel Guides. Here you'll find hundreds of online and print resources that will assist you in spiritual growth. Plan to return often for audio, video, workbook downloads, book recommendations, Q & A, and more!

Audio Welcome from Pastor Dan

There is no specific timetable for the journey, so take your time and learn as much as you can about God. However, you don't want to get lost or stalled out on the side of the road—you want to keep on track toward fulfilling His purpose for your life. That's why we provide helpful gatherings for travelers at the church; to encourage you to keep moving, provide refreshment and rest, and keep you focused in the right direction.

If you're a spiritual beginner, you can expect this roadmap to guide you for the first two or three years of your Christian life. After that, you'll be equipped to plan your own trip from there, aided by others you meet along the way.

Sincerely,

Pastor Dan Jarvis

What if I'm not in the Medina area?

If you can't attend Weymouth Church, but you'd like to use the Roadmap, feel free! Some of the recommendations throughout the journey are specific to our church, but most are not. In fact, it is likely that Bible-teaching churches in your area have similar activites, so you can adapt the Roadmap to your own situation. You will certainly find the "Travel Guides" section of each stage to be helpful, as it provides free web-based learning material. Enjoy the journey, and feel free to contact us if you need assistance.
