We realize that many people have questions about going to church -- especially if they aren't used to it. Here are a few of them:

Will I be asked to do something embarassing? Not at Weymouth. If you're a guest, you'll be warmly greeted, you can sit wherever you like and enjoy the service.

Will I be pressured to give money? Absolutely not. In fact, at Weymouth we don't even have a "collection." People who wish to donate drop money in lockboxes at their convienience -- no pressure, and no expectation. Sometimes we talk about generosity or money, because that's an important area of our lives. But what you give, and where you give it -- that's between God and you.

What should I wear? Don't worry about getting dressed up. Looking around on Sunday, you'll see people in everything from jeans to pinstripes. The pastors typically dress up a notch, but the congregation is pretty relaxed. Just wear something that's comfortable for you.

What about kids? Ah, yes, fear not. The kids are covered. We've got clean, high-quality nursery rooms for infants and toddlers, along with loving care and peace-of-mind safety precautions. Of course, you're also welcome to keep your young ones in the service. For pre-k, elementary kids and teens, we have classes during part or all of the service, depending on which service your family attends -- get the details here.

Will the message be relevant to my life? Well, that's the whole idea! The Weymouth pastors center their teaching on the Bible and seek to draw out principles you can apply to your daily life. For example, we've recently had Sundays focused on everything from great parenting to overcoming anger; understanding Jesus' parables to the purpose of life.

How will I know where to go? We have friendly Guest Services volunteers at the entrances before each service, who can help you find your way. Also, in the downstairs common area of the church, there is an "Info Center" you can visit. While you're there, visit our coffee and breakfast snack area.

Do I need to bring a Bible? You can if you want, but you don't have to. We provide free Bibles in all of the seats -- you can use those to follow along with what the pastor is reading. Also, if you don't have an easy-reading Bible in your home, you can take home a free Bible from the church. No obligation (just read it!).

We hope that you'll be a guest at Weymouth this Sunday. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
